Chuck is strange

We have a friend staying, GM, she comments sometimes...

Chuck decided this evening that he wanted to spend a solid five minutes or more licking her slippers; with her feet in them. She said she didn't mind, but when he moved to her sock I distracted him.

What the heck was that all about????

    Sometimes pets, like children, can embarrass us like no others. Distraction works great.

    No offense intended to GM, but dogs do love licking anything salty - perhaps her feet were kind of warm in those slippers?
    Bare feet are particularly appealing to my dog - I've rescued many a guest from his lickens'.
