Headaches and lizards.

I have had this weird headache all day today, like someone has wrapped a tensor bandage around my head too tight, and is pushing hard on my eyeballs. Meh. Worse if I shake my head.

Blech.

That said, look who I saw when I was out walking the Chuckster today?

Isn't he cute? Maybe it is the weather, the dog is mighty inert, one of my co-workers also has a headache, and that little guy wasn't going anywhere he didn't have to. I didn't have a fancy telephoto, I just jammed the camera in his little face, and he didn't move.

I've been thinking about a bunch of stuff lately, but I've been too tired for a big fat thinking post...so you're getting photos and comments for now.

Cheers,

O. (not the rich and famous O, just me.)

  1. My kids would just love him. Come to think of it, me too. I used to catch lizards when I was a kid and then let them go again after a while. Sorry to hear about the headache, hope you feel better soon. :)

  2. Catchy post title.
Sounds like you have a sinus headache? Hope you feel better.
Lizards are "cute" in their natural habitat - sort of. One of my kids had a pet lizard. I wasn't too fond of having one in the house - where it did not belong.

All my headaches actually are like that. I hate the "eyes popping" feeling. Sympathies.

  4. For some reason I have a bit of a headache tonight too. Hmmmmmm....

Like your little friend there. Reminds me of when we found a garter snake by the house.

  5. Theresa, I never got much of a chance to catch lizards as a child, but I've caught a fair number of garter snakes...

Beth, I am not sure what it was, but I am glad to say that the headache is GONE!

elPadawan, you get those fairly often? Eeeewwwww. I felt like my eyeballs were going to burst...*shudder*

Sirdar, your lizard story today was WAY better than my lizard story...feel free to go over and read that if you want a good belly laugh!

  6. Okay, I can't agree with the cute description on this one. He looks too much like a snake, and snakes terrify me. Mice and spiders don't bother me. Snakes and lizards? Blech. Fun photo, though.

  7. What a cute little fellow, or girl what the case may be ;-). I like little reptiles; I find them quite fascinating. Hope your headache is better. We dealt with neck pain today and I posted about the little one's woes.

  10. Michele, it is astonishing some of the information we end up learning isn't it...kinda cool too to let others drag us down routes we might otherwise never travel.
