Good news

Not sure if I posted this, but Youngest's process through some of the bureaucracy here got waylaid about a month and a half ago by an...idiot in a position of power.  Maybe that's a good way to put it.

Thanks to our delightful lawyer, we have moved onto the next of many many steps, but that, at least, is progress, and progress is good.

Plus the locksmith came and put a honking great lock onto the big door out front, so we can now lock the house when we're out!  YEAH!
