I'm glad you like the middle one, I look at them and feel they are so unfinished, which they are...ho hum....I remind myself that even the likes of Leonardo and Monet and Van Gogh were rarely happy with their work. If they can be self-critical, I shouldn't worry to much. Self-perception is such a tricky thing...ties in a bit with your post on anorexia, no?orenetahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10616103982088424715noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8311151968716514867.post-91336161724812960842008-05-27T07:32:00.000-07:002008-05-27T07:32:00.000-07:00The middle painting is my favourite as well. When I was vastly pregnant I seriously debated painting my entire body and rolling along the walls of a room, sort of like a wildly bumpy paint roller and seeing what the patterns turned out like...kind of one bump, then a smear, then three bumps, or four, then a smear, then one bump.....the man would have had to keep applying paint as I turned. It all seemed a little epic, and I wasn't sure I wanted to end up like the goldfinger girl so I never bothered. It might be an interesting thing to try to conceptualise and paint though...hmmmmmm

Beth, thank you....I did a whole wach more painting today, but it was one of those days when there are not huge photographable changes...man I am making up new words at a rate of knots here this evening....actually with two of them I have, now that I think of it, but I never took the photos and now it's dark and the light sucks...later....

Kim, Thank you, and having seen what you have been up to I am pretty imspired as well! The ghostly dresses is turning out well, I am going to apply one more glaze, but then I have to Leave. It. Alone before I ruin it. Time to hang it up and just look for a while.orenetahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10616103982088424715noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8311151968716514867.post-65847402611252549072008-05-26T14:36:00.000-07:002008-05-26T14:36:00.000-07:00I LOVE the middle collage!
