*cringe* and giggle

That was weird.

Really weird.

Eldest just let herself out the door to walk herself to school today.

Gack.

We won't find out how it went until two when she gets back for lunch...!!!!!

    Hope all goes well for her.
    I'm assuming the "cringe" is because such a change is hard for Mom. In some ways, life becomes easier as they become more independent - in other ways, tougher.

    Bet she walks in the door and opens the fridge... that is what I do, and I let myself out the door over 30 years ago... there is something comforting about coming home and looking in the fridge..

    Beth, I've noticed that it gets both easier and harder....change is good though...
