OK, that is some seriously scary mould. Wow. Isn't it amazing how freakin' fast it can grow? Bleach and a floor brush and, of course, throwing out the basket...
At first I thought it was a Barceló painting. It also looks a little like some cave art I've seen in France.
Oh dear! I hope you find a solution that doesn´t involve knocking the whole house down.
when I go back to Cornwall in March I will be faced yet again with the results of my stupid decision not to dig up the floor and put in a damp course. But you´d think you could escape this here!!! K x
