The new phone....

Yup, it came today, and it has more features than any one human really needs. Honest to goodness....

The manual is the size of the phone book in some towns.

That said, I am looking forward to a phone that dials 4 willingly, as this was becoming problematic. Which is stressful when 416 is the number you have to dial at the beginning of most calls.

I am not going to use it tomorrow I think, I have a couple of important calls to make and receive and I am not positive I can answer it reliably.

On another note, I tried a new ice cream. Wow!! President's Choice Canadian Maple....Oh my....creamy and rich and yummy. The first ingredient is fresh cream, and there are chunks of maple sugar candy all through it....oh oh oh oh oh...why couldn't we have found it earlier?

All you Americans...it's worth the drive.

Mmmmmmm.

Feature creep! (That's the term when electronics companies put too many features into stuff ... like a coffee pot that can chop noodles or something.) It's funny ... these products are made by geeks who love all these bells and whistles but don't think that the average non-geek doesn't want all that junk.

Can you access the Internet with your new phone? Or is just a Blackberry that allows you to do that?

As for your love of food - why aren't you the size of a house with all these yummy dessert treats you consume?

DD: It is especially frustrating when you know that the damn thing does something fascinating, but you cannot figure out (or don't have the time to figure out) how to make it do it.

Grrrr.

Beth: I think I can I think I can, I think I can, see above....

good genetics, and lots of dog walking. What are you complaining about anyway, you don't have a problem there either....

Kim: GO forth and eat icecream. I am sorry it feels like Hell though...

Beth: Definately time for good icecream fix I'd say...

I have a phone with loads of features which I hardly use.

All you really need it for is to make calls; I think we have all been conned by the marketing men to but all these additional features.

Philip: Thanks for coming by, and yes, I agree with you, though if I can ever figure out how to make the photos appear on my camera, I'll be a step ahead of where I am now...
