London... the tip off was the bus and phone booth!

Btw, in the first picture, is there a Indian restaurant behind you? It reminds me of this one street where this one restaurant is at.

Cheers from California!

Lovely! Whose painting is the last photo?

On the radio on the way to work the other day they were talking about some major exhibit going on in London through February-- maybe Leonardo Da Vinci?

ElP...London in one, abysmal weather and all...though in it's defence it was nice on Sat and Sun.

Beth, one of these days...

Helen, a tough one, no?

Nomad..YES!!! but I was there on Sat, Sun and Mon, went to the show on Mon...a week after you. Amazing, no? Paris hopefully in the spring....

Carla, indian restaurant? Not sure, didn't notice if there was.....

Tubuko...LONDON! One of these days!

Kate, The painting is by Gerhard Richter, some of whose work I adore (abstracts) and some of which leaves me cold....an amazing major exhibit at the Tate Modern. Da Vinci? I don't know. There's always SOMETHING on in London.

I was going to guess England even before I saw the phone booths. Ah, thatched roofs, ancient architectural, the politeness of cuing up...Hope it was a great trip!
