Frankfurt, avoid it like the plague.

Just so you all know, Frankfurt airport sucks. It has the most miserable design flaws that make life simply horrid. We were more than an hour standing in a giant crush of people trying to get to the lines to go through passport control, on top of that, there was no AC. Not fun.

Try to never ever ever fly through Frankfurt, and if you have to....give yourself lots of time for the transfer....lots and lots and lots, like hours extra.

Dinner out at the local bar then BED.

Youngest got about an hour and a half of sleep and is going like she had a full night, don't know how she does it.

Chuck is fine, a lighter colour than we remembered, and he is trying to be annoyed with us, but keeps forgetting. It is fairly humorous.

More later...

lovely to hear you're back - i also avoid frankfurt like the plague! do you remember spending some stop-over time there together a long long time ago? I for some reason do - and those black rubber mats with dots in them will stay with me forever I think....
anyway - local bars, chuck, and home.... welcome back!!! JoannePL

Yes, Frankfurt does suck - it is one of the busiest airports in the world, but there is no comfort. In general, I find Summer in Germany a pain - there is NO air-con anywhere - I went to a museum with Miss 6 and we nearly died, it was like a sauna. You can't win... in Winter, when you are all bundled up with your woolies, they heat everything to 32 degrees, so entering a store can make you start stripping off layers faster than Brittney!

I love how dogs pretend to be offended that you left them for several days but they just can't help running all over you. They're so funny. Glad you're home safe and sound.

Glad you made it home safe and sound. Kids are wired to keep going like the Energizer Bunny. And they don't know better either. Funny about Chuck; I love when dogs do that, and they probably curse their bad memory too;-).
