Tour of where we were

This is what we see when we go cruising for the summer. Many, if not most of these photos were taken by Eldest.

We saw otters and rattle snakes, and a green snake, crows, vultures, gulls, mergansers, loons, great blue herons, frogs and fishes and crawfish, clams and mites and seaweed, lichen and moss and mushrooms.  No bears this year, but a group of deer.

And spiders

and water

and misty sunrises

and sunsets

rocks and trees and ponds

Did I mention moss?

and more moss

and lichen

and rocks

little tiny plants

see?

there they are.

Junipers

more rocks

and sticks

and stones

ants eye view

lots and lots of beautiful rocks

the sun went down every day...nice how it does that.

Otters are very hard to photograph, especially with a point and shoot from the top of the mast

see

vulture

and rain

and sunshine.

And then there is each other, which we also see a lot of too.  Kinda the point.

Good thing I wasn't on the boat. I'd have annoyed the hell of everybody, spending hours trying to snap a pic of the otters. Then when we'd show the vacation pics, there'd be, like, a thousand of them to go through which would be missed attempts at otter capture...
