Are you familiar with the work of the artist Andy Goldsworthy? I think you would really like it. If you ever get a chance to see the documentary film about him and his work, Rivers and Tides, grab it-- it's amazing.
I say this because your pictures made me think of him. He works in situ and creates sculptures and other artwork out of whatever is at hand, all materials found in nature. Fascinating stuff.
