Apart from the snow and almost sliding into two intersections, it was a pretty good day. Wonderful photos.

Beautiful pictures. That walk sounds like just the thing after having to sleep in that horrible hospital chair. I hope Eldest is feeling better and that they find out what's wrong soon.

Great photos. I'm not quite as envious as I have been re: your great weather. It was beautiful here today!

Very lovely (your photos, not my day-- though my day wasn't particularly Un-lovely, either.)

Are you familiar with the work of the artist Andy Goldsworthy? I think you would really like it. If you ever get a chance to see the documentary film about him and his work, Rivers and Tides, grab it-- it's amazing.

I say this because your pictures made me think of him. He works in situ and creates sculptures and other artwork out of whatever is at hand, all materials found in nature. Fascinating stuff.

elPadawan, it was indeed.

Michele, there will be life after snow...just keep saying it...

Dawn, see above. Glad you didn't hit anything!

Beth, I am OH SO glad...aside from the poopsicles...yuck.

Kate, I had not, and I am going right now to find him! Thanks.
