The end of a saga

FINALLY my tooth is completely fixed and I can eat popcorn again.

I really really like my dentist, first of all, she is a small girl (can't be more than 26) so I feel confident I could take her if I really wanted to leave....

Second, she is really nice and doesn't make me feel bad or guilty or incompetent.

Third, she is the only other person I know of who has read Haruki Murakami in Catalan. She liked it too.

Finally, she seems to be doing a good job. It is one of the things about a dentist that is tough, you can't really tell how good they are till a few years down the road. Let's hope for the best.

but boy oh boy. I DO not like going to the dentist.

I do like the popcorn I finally got to eat though. mmmmmmmmm

While I am tempted to ask about dental stories, I don't think I can handle them right now. A little space and time before we do that maybe. m'kay?

Good news - and I love the fact that being able to eat popcorn is at the top of your list (in fact, the only thing on your list) when it comes to celebrating the recovery of your tooth!

Okey dokey. Glad your tooth saga is over, although I think you are gambling a bit by going back to popcorn.

Popcorn is one of life's great joys. Glad to hear you are enjoying it again. Just watch out for the "old maids."

Isn't it interesting the idioms still in use that are sooo sexist it makes one's head spin? Particularly so when confronted by one never heard of before? GM

OK so I won't tell you about the time I had three different surgical matters taken care of on the one occasion, and under a general anaesthetic which took me 36 hrs to clear out of my head!

Hey, you know Beth...popcorn is seriously important...especially when in the throws of a salt/corn craving for tortilla chips, not the same, but.....

Doug, I broke the sucker on muesli for crying out loud...and I am chewing bewy bewy cafuwe...

JG, HA! Never heard that before, though I do know, instantly, what you mean.

Sirdar, and about time too. She said it might hurt for a few days, made me worry, but it is alright...my tongue is still getting used to it, but....

GM, it is fascinating the idioms that appear in different places...

Swede...oh how horrible...36 hours to process the anaesthetic out...horrid horrid horrid.

elP, when you're all settled in you'll have to make yourself some...mmmmmmm

RLL, So am I and thanks for dropping a note!

Jason, as himself said...

This took FOREVER! Welcome back to popcorn.
