  • 5.12.15 Around the world single-handed. Harry Pidgeon. Fabulous, seems a thoroughly nice man.
  • 20.11.14 The Sea is for Sailing, Peter Pye. Great. Included some sailing in Canada!!!
  • 9.11.14 The Last Voyage of the Schooner Rosamond. Haakon Chevalier. wonderful.
  • 30.10.14 Wandering Under Sail, Eric Hiscock. Marvelous.

  • 22.9.14 Snow at the Equator. H. W. Tilman. Excellent if you skip the hunting sections and ignore the racism. It is of it's age.

  • Storm of Swords, Game of Thones, book 3, George RR Martin. Still compelling, though I flagged in the middle, resorted to spoilers to keep my spirit up. The author must be seriously twisted. Makes me wonder why it is I am still reading.

  • 26.2.14 Còrrer o Morrir, Kilian Jornet. (In CATALN!!!) good, he's a better runner than writer, interesting, but not brilliant.
  • 23-2-14. Travels in Alaska, John Muir. Fascinating, though not compelling....good.
  • 19.2.14 The Wee Free Men, Terry Pratchett. Excellent as one would expect.
  • 9.2.14 Eleanor Updale, Montmorency Returns, first book read on the ereader! Good.
  • 6.2.14 Eleanor Updale, Montmorency's Revenge. Not so happy with the ending, but there is another one.
  • 4.2.14 Eleanor Updale, Montmorency and the Assasins. Compelling
  • 2.1.14 Eleanor Updale, Montmorency on the Rocks. Very good! Love weekends!!!!
  • 1.2.14 Eleanor Updale, Montmorency. Yes, it is for teens, and yes, it was really very very good.

  • 18.1.14 The Pirates in the Adventure with Romantics. Gideon Defoe, Silly, but quick and good

  • 7.1.14 The Dolphins of Pern, Anne McCaffery. Wonderful. Now back to the tougher Catalan and Spanish books!
