Photo day...flowers and bird and...

This is the local poop filled bit of grass in a local parking lot. There's beauty everywhere if I peel my puffy eyes open far enough to peer out and spot it. And remember the camera so I can share it.

These,

were spotted in BCN, there are lots of free-flying free-living hippie parrots in BCN, like in parts of Florida too. I love them, and I love that they hang with the pigeons. Make peace not war man.

I always knew that eldest is unique, and sometimes astonishingly wise. She didn't need to produce three white/grey eye-lashes to prove it to me.

OH! and we got the name of a homeopath in a nearby town, we may well be heading out there sometime soon. Maybe they can help us all. Even chuck. I wonder if anyone does veterinary homeopathy.

Good to see you felt well enough to go outside and take some pictures. And the (unique) eyelash one is lovely.
I think you'll really appreciate all a homeopath can offer - certainly in matters of allergies and skin & g.i. disorders. Best of luck.

Glad to hear/see/read that you're on the upswing!
Homeopathy is covered my the national health plan in Catalonia?
Way ahead of Germany who only pay for medication from the giant drug companies!
Have you asked your firends at the market what to do with Chuck's problem? I'd think they'd know a home remedy that wouldn't have the dog getting jabbed every day!

After a weekend at the theatre festival in Berlin know how you feel!Couldn't resist the champagne at the final do and had a face like a puffball and painful joints the next morning!
Hope to visit JC et garcons in Paris at the end of the month!GM

Good luck with the homeopathy. And I just love free flying free living hippie parrots. They speak to my soul.

Wow, it's been a while. I'm finally getting around to visiting people again. The flowers are lovely; we used to have lots of those red poppies around here, but all the construction has done away with them. We got a lot of those parrots in Málaga too, but they don't get up this far north, too bad because they are fun to watch. The eyelash picture is really nice, very artistic. :)

and I love that the pigeons hang with the regular guys too! Can't we all just get along
??

Beth, I love a good homeopath, they are the best....

GM, no, the homeopath would not be covered...but if it gets rid of the pain for well and good...my sympathies for your champagne induced trauma....and in the past, dogs with this, just died.

Hula...I thought of you when I posted it!

Theresa, the purple poppies in the background are what first inpired the photo...but they sort of disappeard..they are the most astonishing colour.

Beth, birds of a feather, eh...I like that photo of her eye too, I may file it in the to be printed and framed file, which I will get around to some day when I feel rich.

I bought a Point & Shoot Camera for the very reason that its small size would enable me to carry it around with me at all times... conveniently :)

Your post about the birds is fun! I love pointing out characteristics I see in birds and you've pegged these ones dead on!

elPadawan, I know what you mean, I am just so in love with what this camera can do.....

Kim S, thanks for coming by....they are amazing birds aren't they.

Sorry Kim, your art4life....Hi there...! good luck with the endless reno...some of those jobs take three years, and five minutes, no?

I love those birds and I would find it quite fascinating to see them free range. It is great they can hang with the pigeons.

Funny those little unique physical things we see as parents. My oldest has a small hole in the back and top of her ear cartilage (more the skin). It goes in a little ways and once she got a piece of grass stuck in it. Daughter C has curly hair, but she has a 2x2mm patch coming out near the top and to the right that is almost afro curly/frizzy. It is the weirdest thing. I have seen people with a patch of blond hair in dark, perhaps the eye lashes are a similar thing.

Dawn, It is amazing the things you notice in your kids, it's all the time spent adoring them I suppose, when they aren't driving us bonkers...
