Dehydration + tiredness = the blues

Alright.

Feeling a little better this morning after about 9 glasses of fluid and a reasonable nights sleep.

It was an amazing weekend, aside from the nearly endless drive. (what a wimp I am)

We saw a ton of animals, I saw a real live beaver walking down to the shore and slip into the water not 15 feet from me, I saw three more swimming, great blue herons, which I haven't seen since Florida, deer, chipmunks....etc etc etc. And I got to go canoeing! That has been a while. I went out at dawn yesterday for a solo paddle, which was unbelievably fantastic...what a delight.

The drive back, meh...driving into the hot sun all day....but we stopped at the canoe museum on the way back, in Peterborough, which was marvelous as usual.

Back on the job today.

Whatever.

If I ever get these computers sorted out I could post some photos again....they are building up in the camera and it's making me a little nuts.

can't you use the upload forms from picasaweb directly? for sure, it's not like sorting pictures and putting them in your picasa and tagging everything, but it's better than nothing ;)

An early morning canoe is bliss. It's what I really look forward to every summer . . .

my best morning on our last sail was when I slipped off in my kyak shortly after dawn and paddled around Logger Head Key to the light house, near Fort Jefferson. The water was like glass and completely quite. Then I found a bunch of cubans on the beach and the spell was broken.

elPadawan, I am a loser with too little time, this is my real problem...I am working on it...really....

Trish, it was really really nice...it is certainly something to look forward too.

Terrie, LOL! I find that some of the sailing moments I remember best are the ones when I was on my own too....or when things were really still (which may be why I remember when I was on my own...kids are noisy!)

I'm anxiously awaiting photos so I hope the computer issues are solved soon. The wildlife sounds beautiful!
