BEACH DAY!!!!! Youngest and I went, life is wonderful. It was too cold to swim though.
The man went sailing too, lucky thing, but the beach is very very very good too.
Oh, and you might just like this. One option, and a fascinating one, for things to do on a cold Norweigan night.

Oh! Oh! Oh! The Beach! We've had about 30 cms of snow that kind of started yesterday (even though it was supposed to be rain) and ended sometime before the dinner commute today. A freakin' nightmare. AND it's -16. On the 7th of March. So, yeah, the beach sounds spectacular even if the water is cold. *sigh* Thanks for letting me vent.
