Make like a cat

The dog and I have discovered a new place to hang out in the house.

You see, now we have heat, and we even turn it on from time to time.  In the living room there is a large section of new pretty tiles, under them, we discovered are some rather (distressingly) poorly insulated hot water pipes for the heating system.  I am comforting myself with the thought that maybe they are insulated on the bottom, but they've done this on purpose to make us happy.

Whatever

We have a strip of radiant heated floor in the house and it is LOVELY to sit on.  Though the dog prefers to sleep there.

Mmmmmm

If I was there I would be sleeping on that spot too. I would want to cut up the floor board and tape it permanently to my feet. Congrats on the ***A*** (!) and those are amazing shots of the moon. That night it just wasn't visible, must have been cloudy because I was looking for it but of course I had this cartoon version of what it was going to be like in my head. But you got some dandies. I was wondering if, with the moon being so close to earth lately, it would be contributing to all the geographical upheaval. Just thinking....

The moon is turning me into a crazied sleep-walker!!!
Hope it goes away sooner than later. The dark rings under my eyes make me look like a raccoon! At least now I have an explanation for what's going on!
But your pixs were AMAZING. GM

This sounds divine and I don't blame you a bit. This from someone who is very fond of her electric blanket.

Bodhi, it's only 6,000 km closer, they said only 2% closer, so not likely to cause Japan to move 4 meters east...an intriguing thought though.

GM! So sorry! NAP TIME!!!! Make like the Spanish...though I work better if I nap in the morning.

Helen, do you squabble over whose desk gets to sit there?

JG...I have a friend who has underfloor heating in her bathroom - blessedly large - you have to kick the kids out to pee and work with the cats all staring at you malevolently for invading their realm.

Underfloor heating? There's nothing like putting your cold feet (particularly in a bathroom) on some warm tiles and notice how that warm sensation travels up your body. Aah...
Have I got underfloor heating? Sadly not.

I seriously debated getting underfloor heating throughout the house, but sadly it got axed as uneconomical....we got a bit though!
