Nature alert!

Youngest and I along with a friend, Chuck and her dog Nona all saw a wild boar just outside the village!!!!

WOW!

That sucker was huge and only about 20 feet away!

The dogs sensibly kept their mouths shut.

Helooooo...

Be very very careful those things are really really dangerous, especially for dogs.

My massage therapists dog was slashed in the belly...lived... but it was many many stitches and a whole lot of touch and go later...

We had many in the Diester near our house, we walked there. They are especially dangerous if surprised.

careful! xxx Nomad

Oh, the Chuck Meiser must have had a hard time keeping his excitement to himself. Thanks heavens for instinct (on his part) to keep a low profile.

the biggest wild things we have around the village are feasants and rabbits... I think I prefer that to a wild boar, thank you very much :p

Nomad, dogs get attacked here too, but our two seem to have enough sense to know when there's a danger. Thank goodness.

Bodhi, that is so kind of you. He is a big fat chicken in reality. Kind of you to imply otherwise though!

ElP, speaking of chickens!!!! Did you ever see a bear in Canada?

Hula, it was very cool...especially when it turned and went the other way, those suckers are BIG.

Kate, porc sangria...that would be weird, no? There must be a song in that, but not one that will help you learn the correct word!
