We have

Windows!  All but one half of one of them (?????)

We have HUGE box loads of Ikea furniture to assemble (OMG)

We have a self-created move in date.  This weekend.  Wish us luck!

We have finished tiles on the floor and the backsplash behind the stove.

We don't have a front door that we can close with anything other than a chain and padlock, but what the heck.

I'll go in and take some photos tomorrow, it was too late today and too dark.

Whew!

Wow, a dream finally coming to fruition. It must be very exciting and fulfilling. I won't mention the unassembled ikea furniture. Love the scribble exercises on the side. I gave myself permission to make some really ugly art today using some "tools" I was afraid of and writing my I am bulletproof page. It really is quite hideous, the page itself is probably physically bulletproof.

That's great news! Apart from the last half window. Hope that'll arrive shortly.

Bodhi, permission for ugly art is hard, isn't it.

Hope you enjoyed it overall.

ElP, already emailed the contractor when they didn't show today! Poor man.

Nomad, I adore you. Now I have to go roll up my sleeves and find some more oil pastels, nothing quite like positive feedback.

Miss ya tons.

The new art is indeed stunning!

Hope the Ikea furniture is more than half that much fun. I have had good results with their stuff, but it takes work sometimes.

As for the padlock, I kind of like it.

JG, yeah the padlock thing is kinda cool, no? Need to get a couple more keys cut though.
