Look at what I got!!!

We went off this morning to get basketball shoes for youngest, and to go and be proper tourists in one of the local towns.....there was quite a cool museum there, we saw some neolithic tools that were found near where we live...and got the shoes for Youngest, and I got these:

Those would be red Doc Martens....I love them.

The dogs seem to as well, I cannot get a photo of them without a dog in it.  I actually had to take about 15 photos as they kept playing in the middle of it all.

Love 'em....

I agree, they are great. I have a pair of lace-up boots and I love them, and they aren't even a knock-out color like red. Now you have made Elvis Costello's song play in my head: (The Angels Wanna Wear My) Red Shoes. Thanks!

Dogs like 'em too, apparently!

Fun! I love red shoes. I'm currently searching for a red pair of cowboy boots, although I have no idea where I would wear them.

What an unusual window/photo - a mixture of wood and "designer iron bolts"? The local version of Hansel and Gretel's gingerbread house or does it really exist someone's home? GM

I got Uggs for Christmas and they are really earning their keep in this cold weather we are having. I nearly always have freezing feet all winter, and this winter so far they are snuggly warm. I love them. Yours are a very snazzy colour.

I too love the window. I love pics of doors and windows and have a small collection on my computer.

gm...thanks! I like them a lot too!

JG, this is the first pair of lace-ups I've had in ages, I kind of prefer slip ons, but.....

Hula, I have red cowboy boots that I love and wear everywhere, I rescued them from the basement in TO this summer and brought them over here only to discover that the leather has given away. I am going to take them to a shoemaker and see if they can be repaired, but I think there is no hope. A new pair will have to make an appearance.

Doug, sadly, no. They are not THE boots, however they are a good stand in and as my feet aren't growing anymore. Plus, when the red cowboy boots died I simply had to do something....still looking for the ultimate boot. There are a pair of cowboy boots I am debating mail ordering from Texas......

Gm, that really is someone's home in Madrid!

Helen, Uggs, they look very very comfy indeed....I have an entire album of door photos too, something compelling about them, I agree.
