The weekend that wasn't.

Spent 6 hours yesterday re-doing a piece of crap translation that another person kinda did, and I ain't half way through yet.

Three hours + today

Then there was Eldest's homework, which was HUGELY epic.  She had to create a resume and a cover letter.  That is, as anyone who has looked for work knows, not a small job; and the first time you try?  Well that took a while.

Youngest has a mass of tests as well.

Most people start to slow down at this time of year.  My life definitely ramps RIGHT up.

The very very very good news is that my work for this summer is confirmed.  I start the day after I fly in.

Congrats on getting your summer work! That qualifies as "good busy." Now, try to confine it to weekdays, okay? :-)

Congrats for the summer work.

The good thing with the resume is that once it's done once, you merely have to update it as time goes by.

So that's some time saved for when she will actually look for work.

I'm happy your plans for the summer are working out!

On the other hand, that end of the school year stress is a killer. We still have THREE more Mondays to go. AAARRRGGGHHHH!!!!

Do my best from here on in, we'll see how it goes JG

Katrina, you are just plain MEAN! Hope you had a ton of fun, I do so miss that event.

ElP, silver lining of sorts, but for the exercise we had to make a whole lot up!

Beth. My deepest sympathies. Three. Ugh

Congrats on the new job!! In TO, right?

Yup, actually it's the same old job I have every summer, but it's confirmed for another year, which is a good thing.

In TO indeed.

Sorry, I maintain this foolish delusion that I will one day convince you to come back :(
