This doesn't happen in Catalunya

The day we arrived, and again today someone mistook me for someone they know.  One asked if I was Olga.  Mmmm, no.  Another started a conversation with me as we were running towards each other.  Then was shocked to discover that I wasn't who they thought I was.

Weirdness.

Both men.  A new kind of pickup line?

I must look like I'm from Toronto.

Very interesting...I often have this experience of others when I first arrive somewhere...maybe you were to, but the other way around....

Nobody ever tries to pick me up like that...
Oh well, so, you are easily mistaken for a Russian beauty (or ex deadly russian spy...). Enjoy :)

Nomad, could be. I do know what you mean, you are so used to seeing the same people you tend to see them in the new place, I keep 'seeing' Catalans from the village in folks walking around TO.....

ElP, Geez, what are you doing wrong? Seems like a line to start with anyway....

Hula...ummm, if ya want to!
