Aground but moving

That's our Oreneta, in the work yard....getting her mast taken down. Our incredible friends from Wahine went down yesterday and pulled the mast (with sheer strength I think...I cannot imagine how they did it. They could probably win one of those Scottish pole tossing competitions) They are simply incredible. Good people we are very lucky to know. If you ever see them pulling into you're home port, be really nice to them, m'kay? Good people.

The truck comes today.

I'm twitching in a kind of exhausted way.

....later...eldest picked up the phone to a southern accent telling her they found the boat. Good to know I guess.

I think you owe them eternal gratitude or something. And one of those kegs of Rum you were hiding in the Oreneta?

That's her Bullwinkle, a mighty midget.

Mmichele, yes indeed and that is good. Thank everything for the weekends.

LP...eternal gratitude for sure. They are amazing. If only we had the rum aboard for them. Maybe some Spanish something...

Carla, it is true. Most boat people are good souls. Feeling much better today, thanks.
