Eldest and school.

Having just passed Canadian Thanksgiving, which we kind of celebrated (curried squash soup, paella and an apple soufflé cake made by the man) I want to say that one thing I am really quite happy about, and thankful for is that Eldest is -so far- really very happy at school.

Thank you thank you thank you indeed.

I have a meeting with the teacher tomorrow.

That should be some good Catalan practice.

I've got a couple of topics to mention too....ho hum.....I wonder what she plans to say. More anon...

I am also wondering what is going to happen with the Canadian elections going on today...I'll have to wait till tomorrow for the results...

OOOOh oh oh oh oh oh OH OHHHHH

I wanted to show you the olives the man and I picked in the hills...I'll have to post that tomorrow...it is past midnight and I am not starting to photo edit now...the man and I are going to try to cure them...and I may pick some more. I'll keep you posted. I also picked some pine cones up for pinyons and a pomegranite that the kids have eaten....

I'm glad she likes school-- that is so important! Still curious to hear about the teacher meeting. You agitator, you!

I try to avoid thinking about these matters. Seems to me that nothing changed much. People I have never heard about will resume doing their thing in a place I have visited a couple of times, business as usual. Government doesn't change much, The right honourable is still the right honourable, he just got a few more seats than before. Will it change anything? I have no idea. Just seems to me that it's "Much ado about nothing". I mean, it's not as if they were getting a black president or something...
