Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes

Unnerving times...sort of.......well. They are supposedly unnerving, but I am not feeling at all unnerved.

The lay offs are coming thick and fast at the man's work....six people out of maybe thirty so far.....

ho hum.

Plan B and C being put into play. Maybe d, e and f too.....

The fact is though that I've been sleeping like a baby, and it's a festa every night he comes home and the axe hasn't fallen.

Really!

Got some ideas up my sleeve too.....so we'll see what happens.....

anyone wanna buy a painting????

Keeping my fingers crossed for your family! (And saying a prayer too!)

Last night I dreamt about how one's life can change in an instant. This morning I woke up muttering something like, "I'm so grateful I can walk!" So the dream must have had something to do with that!

Changes are inevitable and things don't always work out like we want, but they DO always work out, don't they!? It's amazing that we human beings are resilient!

Blessings to you!

Ooooh! Do you paint? Can we see photos of your work?

It’s good to know you’re not unnerved and that you have back-up plans, but I’m a bit unnerved for you.
And I told you I’d love to buy one of your paintings! I wanted you to figure out how to bring it with you last summer!

Times are scary. Sirdar's company did wage roll backs in the Calgary office, but not here so far. We know people who have been laid off. It is pretty bad everywhere, but not too bad here.

Oh no!! I will send you good thoughts across the Atlantic! We've talked about how it has been affecting my corner of the world... sorry to hear it hit Catalan, too.

Earlier this year, we stopped saving for our retirement temporarily to divert assets into an emergency fund in case DH's job is affected. Knock on wood!!

She...things do work out in the end...one does hope for a happy ending though...and I will get some photos up, I should make an album and stick it on one side there....

Beth, it is a little unnerving, but who knows, good things happen too....and we can talk about paintings, though I would like to give you one....maybe we should wait till things settle down a bit on your end though, don't you think?

Mmichele, I would be lying if the thought hadn't occurred to me, indeed it is one of those plans....not a or b at this point...but it is a mighty sweet fall-back plan.

JG, thank you....let's see if it was well placed...

Sirdar, a wage roll back, better than rolling lay offs anyway.

Carla, glad you have a plan....knock on wood indeed.
