I am so FRUSTRATED

Oh my "f"ing GOD

I am so very tremendously frustrated with Eldest's school I could just about spit. Honestly, I want to go over there and b*itch slap about four different teachers for the better part of a day.

Do these people even have an idea of what teaching is? Of what their job is? Of what the h*ll they are there for?

I have a meeting with the head of studies tomorrow, and I am not going to be nice at all.

This is a big fat stinking piece of sh*t, and I am going to stir it up but good.

I cannot even go into it all without my head exploding.

I haven't felt this violently frustrated since I was a teen.

Whenever I find myself growing grim about the mouth; whenever it is a damp, drizzly November in my soul; whenever..... it requires a strong moral principle to prevent me from deliberately stepping into the street, and methodically knocking people's hats off - then, I account it high time to get to sea as soon as I can. (Moby Dick)

Hang onto your hats ladies and gentlemen...

F*cking H*ll.

Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do! And advocating for your kids is your priority!!!

You have never written a post with so many curse words. A true indication of your fury and frustration.
And you’re right – in certain situations being nice is not effective at all. Whenever I ran into problems with teaching and administrative staff at the boys’ schools I was very, very firm – never gave an inch. Never backed down. I don’t think they really knew what to do with a mother who wouldn’t let the matter rest, wouldn’t listen to “their” reason. At worst, a compromise was reached. At best, I got what I wanted - and what was best for my kids.
Will be rooting for you tomorrow.

Yikes! I am glad that I'm not Eldest teacher or even on the same continent as you right now!

I've been thinking about this, and an excellent teacher will work very closely with you to make sure your child's academic needs are being met. In the US, parents have a great deal of power in schools, so HOLD YOUR GROUND. Breathe deeply, and demand what's right for your ELDEST! She's damn LUCKY to have you for a MOM! I'm cheering you on from LA.

Wow. A pair of hands jumped out of my computer and grabbed me around the neck just now. I told them I wasn't a teacher and they went away.

Uh-oh. When Oreneta gets grim about the mouth and it's November in her soul, things are going to HAPPEN.

Be smart, be strategic, and tell it like it is. Rooting for your success!

David, thank you.

Lion...glad you got a laugh anyway....

She, thank you for the encouragement....it is also great to hear your input from NA, to see what happens there.

Beth, I too, did not budge an inch. The man said I wasn't scary, but he is pretty sure that the man was uncomfy, and that we got talked about when the teachers all got together. To dissipate my fury I ended up with the windows open, the door open rock music blasting, me screaming along to it and painting, no spraying paint around....got 6 pictures out of it, one half finished, one crappy, and some that are all right. A little calmer by the end of that.

Bhodi...I was a little annoyed.

Mmichele! TOTALLY hilarious comment. Thank you...needed that.

GM, hats duly knocked off.

JG, I THINK I did all that...wait and see.

Beth, Ass kicking? Check.
