Youngest is talking in her sleep...in Catalan.  Cool, no?

Room painted...it could really use another coat, but know what?  It's good enough.

Youngest's new storage boxes assembled and mostly filled.  YEAH!

Both kids have cleaned and tidied their rooms, TRIPLE YEAH!

I have made spicy peanut dip, salty spicy chickpeas and some delicious tamarind potatoes that are too mushy to serve I think.  Yummy for us though.  More to do tomorrow.

It is way late and I have to be up WAY early tomorrow and it's gonna be a looooong one.

Night all!

Mmmmm - salty spicy chickpeas, spicy peanut dip - care to share those recipes? They both sound wonderful. I do love me some salty and spicy. I love having clean, tidy spaces. *sigh*

Sounds like things are turning your way pre-party. What time should we be there?

Or failing that, recipes, please!

Spicy chickpeas - one of my staple party dishes too! Thus the need for for fresh hot chillies....
Tamarind potatoes sound great - with my Irish background I am a potato fiend and hope to grow some more interesting ones here once we find our 'place in the country'

Bodhi, I'll share the recipies, no problem...post them soon.

JG; wouldn't that be sweet!

Picklepits, I am so sorry, I forgot the camera and literally have not one single photo...weird.

K! The potatoes I find here fall into one of three types, red ones, which are somewhat better for boiling, white ones, thin skinned, that completely come apart for frying, specifically for truita de patates, and the condis sells some others in bags...can't even remember now cause I buy at the market. The boilers aren't sturdy enough though.....
