Back onto it tomorrow. (it is 12:02 am) and I
Pulled my back this morning, bending over to put the laundry detergent on the floor, something went 'pop' in my back. OUCH. Always knew that laundry had to be bad for your health. That pilates video that Nomad (who has posted recently!!!) recommended is going to have to make it into this household, and I will have to miraculously come up with time for that as well. Had a nap and lunch, and had a big fat Spanish test this afternoon. Didn't do quite so well. The preterite indefinido is a beast.
I didn't get the sketching done today either. That's OK, there are days it won't happen, there just can't be many of them.
There is, however a lovely ring around the moon this evening, and I tried to get a shot of it for you all.
Please remember that I am not a pro with the camera, by a very long shot.
Still, kinda shows what I was talking about, no?
Actually, I got fed up with this not painting crap and whipped something off, I put it up on the right there. I'll sketch in bed, even if it is only for a couple of minutes. No one every got anywhere waiting for tomorrow.
Hope you have a fun and productive one,
O

oooh hope your back feels better.
Maybe it is just painting every day, just not A painting every day..
Hug and hope it feels better soon!
My delightful cousin arrived today!
Yay.

Backs - the bane of our existences but what would we be without them - jellyfish?
It's good to break routine every now and then, shake up your priorities. I somehow have no doubt you'll be back at it soon.
Get better soon. The back is, I believe, an important piece of the body.
And that's a nice moon you've got there...
Ouch! Hope your back is back to normal soon. The moon looks good...much better than I'd manage. Every time I try to take a picutre of the moon it just looks like a tiny blurry dot.
Nomad, SO very glad your cousin arrive. I think the solution may be painting every day and A painting every day, both. Even if the Painting every day serves as a warm up, experiment, space to play, try things out, prototype, I think I need the disipline of both. Seems to feel that way from here. For now anyway.
Bodhi, indeed, right back at it, no jelly fish in sight, though a somewhat achy vertibrate.
ElP, I believe that you are correct, the back is, indeed, an important part of the body. More useful than a baby toe for instance.
Mother T, the fancy camera has a special setting for starry nights, I put it on that, put it down on the terrace floor, pressed the button and walked away for two minutes. Rinse and repeat till I got the d*rn thing into the center-ish of the frame and then went from there.
Got a cool idea for a painting out of it, but I need some further supplies to embark.
That is the coolest picture of the moon I've ever seen!
Sorry about your back - wishing you a speedy recovery.
I thought the photo turned out fairly well too! Thanks. The back is improving, slowly but surely.
