OUCH

Ya know what?

Sometimes the dog wants to lick my cuts, and you know what? Sometimes it hurts. Why do they do that anyway?

Dogs saliva has antiseptic properties (which is just as well given what else they lick) which is why they lick their own cuts. He could be licking yours because of the salt in the blood is nice, or the blood itself tastes nice, or he is a vampire dog and is practicing.

I dunno. And I'm not too thrilled with the dog licking me when I know what he was last licking.
