Amazing Beethoven's 5th

You have to go over and see this...Beetoven's Fifth: You can hear it, plus see it...you have to check it out to understand.....seriously cool.

Also a little difficult to explain.

Cheers,

O

Always a pleasure to listen to and, yes, seeing this animated version is “seriously cool.” Very much so!

Seems an interesting teaching tool around how the music is structured...I can see it better than I an hear it...though of course one can hear it clearly in the piece...analysing it is something else.

That was great, I love that kind of thing.

I would personnally be very interested in seeing some other symphonies in that format. Also, remember Disney's Fantasia? That's also an "animated score", technically ;)

There is a condition called Synesthesia (?sp) where you see colours when you hear sounds and a Russian composer called Scriabin had it, so he always saw colours when he heard music.

This is just how i visualise music when I play it... we had to draw things like this in school... it's fun isn't it! Alice xxx
