Twilight zone.

The man has - in theory - just taken off from Canada, headed for an airport that is, according to all sources, closed.

I am feeling a might twitchy.  Also kind of wondering exactly where he is going to turn up at the end of this.

On a weirder note, do you realise that there is a scheduled, non-cancelled flight that is going from Reykjavík to London today?

Am I the only one that finds that just a little surreal?

...........later...............

he's down and am I ever glad of it.

Maybe by the time the Man arrives there, the airport will be open. Fingers crossed!

I've been thinking quite a bit about the havoc created by one little eruption!

I am happy to be grounded at the moment! Thinking that the pressure to re-open has been huge...
I'm sure the man will be fine though - maybe he will land at the Iceland airport which has been open all the time apparently!

I've read that good winds have made the Reykjavik airport quite immune to whatever was happenning to the rest of the world, ironically...

That one wasn't but another one was....and thank goodness for that Bodhi.

Mmichele, I've been thinking a lot about that.

JC I was wondering if he'd end up there too....better where he is in the UK though.

ElP, weird isn't it...no wonder so many reporters have made it on site.

Beth...indeed it is.
