Howl

Back improved, spent as much of the day as I could flat on my back.  A good way to get in some naps!

I can stand or lie down, sitting sorta hurts, so I am writing standing up, fortunately I can also paint standing up, indeed I always do.

Funny thing the other night, the next door neighbour's baby woke up in the night and was kind of wailing, this two or three tone long drawn out wails, for just a few minutes.  During that time, a different neighbour's dog heard it and began to howl in response.  Howling the same two or three tone long drawn out wails.

Odd sounding in the night.

Makes you wonder what they were saying to each other, doesn't it?

(Hope your back keeps improving.)

That's why I wear earplugs.

Glad to hear your back is a little better...so it's standing or lying down, eh? Well, two out of three ain't bad ;)

And next time, howl back...they might be so surprised that they stop.

Gee, sorry to hear about the back but sounds like you're working around it (naps are always good!). Funny about the howling. Our dog will sit down and howl when there are sirens nearby, especially fire trucks. Is it singing? Wailing in sympathy! Ask Chuck, maybe he has an answer.

The baby along the lines of hungry and alone, DO something!

The dog? Sympathy? Company? *shrug*

ElP: YES!!!

Trish, a thought, but I normally sleep like a log....

Mother T, I am now at about 2 and a half out of three so things are looking up!

Bodhi, Chuck very rarely howls, so tends to get our fascinated and undivided silent attention when he does so. In five years, I have maybe heard him howl three times. He isn't very good at it, so he sounds kinda funny too.
