Where we went today:

San Juan de Gaztelugatxe on the north coast of Spain.

If you look closely at the photo, you can see a pedestrian causeway out to the hermitage on the island.

There was lots of noise and waves and rocks...

Looking back.

Fun walk indeed.

Aha you're still there! i am so envious of this loooooong holiday. Pep said it looked like the Atlantic - asif it could be Cornwall. Wild seas - crashing waves - windy and bracing. Love it! See you soon - love to the Chucky kxx

Those photos take my breath away! I must get to Spain! Wow. Just wow.

Looks like maybe the tide could cover the path?

They certainly work hard at it, no Boo?

Kate, Pep got it in one, west of Bermeo, between Bilbao and San Sebastien.

Helen, indeed....this was pretty calm too, I imagine it gets worse.

Bodhi, just DO it!

ElP, storms could, but the walls over the path are pretty high.

It was indeed intensely cool....the sounds of the surf was wonderful, but a much nicer coast to be ashore on than to be at sea in.
