I went into BCN the other day to look at light fixtures.
I have rarely seen a light I liked. Honestly. Somehow most of them are at best tolerable.
True to form, I found some lovely ones.

True to form, they start at 650 Euros.
Who would pay nearly a thousand bucks for a light fixture?

Any second-hand stores there? One can find such lovely treasures in those places.
LOL. I had to make some tough decisions between what I truly liked and what I could afford. I ended up with a lot of "tolerables".
It's a basic rule that the things you like best are always too expensive. Sadly houses are places of compromise not of artistic choice for most of us. it's as close to what you want for what you can afford to pay.
Actually I know someone who is a teacher in an art school that teaches sculpture and metal work...I am hoping to find someone both interesting and starting out (read cheap)
